Home incarnate
This work began with a desire to look closely at my own history and my inner life related to family and home. Home, in the sense of a lived experience, can rarely be viewed accurately from the outside looking in - it is an intimate inner world. I am using photography to look closely both from the inside out, and from the outside in.
This page-through was created from a handmade maquette that was built before the final book cover was designed. The images you see here were produced on an old black and white laser printer (so they are much darker than they appear in reality) and taped together with scotch tape. The printed book is in production and I will upload a less-rough page-through video once it's in my hands! Thanks for watching!
